VW: Get Carter
Second in a series of films for Volkswagen 'See Film Differently'. We headed to Newcastle for a screening of the British crime classic 'Get Carter', starring Michael Caine as Jack Carter.
Despite the snow and icy roads some of the films fans ventured out to enjoy the movie. There was a special introduction from Steve Chibnall who wrote the British Film Guide to Get Carter book, as well as an exhibition of life-sized stills from the film, detailed maps of set locations, and archived news stories from the film's release.
